How it works

Declaw Desktop Security sits between your AI assistants and the internet, inspecting every request and response without slowing you down.

Local HTTP/HTTPS proxy

Declaw runs a local proxy on your machine. AI assistants are configured to route their traffic through it — no changes to your network or router needed.

Traffic monitoring

All traffic to and from your AI assistants passes through Declaw's inspection engine in real time.

On-device enforcement

PII redaction and prompt injection blocking happen locally before any data leaves your machine. Redacted values are restored in responses so your workflow is uninterrupted.

Nothing leaves your machine

There are no cloud calls for analysis. The scanning engine runs entirely on-device. Your prompts, your data, and your redaction events never touch an external server.
